Barn imiterer ofte engelsk uttale veldig godt.

The fairy Tale of The Three Billy-Goats Gruff

Once upon a time there were three billy-goates Gruff who were going up to the mountains to eat grass and get fat. On the way there was a bridge. And under the bridge lived a big ugly troll, with eyes as big as saucers and a nose as long as a poker.
First of all came the small billy-goat Gruff. Trip, trap, trip, trap.
Troll( roaring ):- Who is tripping over my bridge?
Tiny billy-goat ( in a small voice ):- Oh! It’s only me, the tiniest billy-goat. I’m going up to the mountains to eat grass and get fat.
Troll: I’m coming to get you!
Tiny billy-goat:- Oh no! Please don’t take me. I am to little. Wait for the second billy-goat. He is much bigger than me.
Troll:- Well, be off with you, then.

A little later the second billy-goat Gruff came. Trip, trap, trip, trap.
Troll ( roaring ):- Who’s tripping over my bridge?
    Second billy-goat:- Oh, it’s the second billy-goat.
I’m going up to the mountain to eat grass and get fat.
Troll:- Now I’m coming to eat you!
Second billy- goat: Oh no! Please don’t take me!
Wait for the biggest billy-goat. He is much bigger!
Troll:- OK. Be off with you, then.
After a short while the biggest billy-goat Gruff came.
Trip, trap,trip,trap.- very heavy steps on the bridge.
Troll:- Who is tramping over my bridge?
Big billy-goat ( in a very coarse voice ): - It is the biggest billy-goat!
Troll:- Now I’m coming to get you!
Big billy-goat:- Well, come along! I have two spears, and I’ll poke your eyes out! I’ve got two great flat stones, and I’ll crush you to bits, body and bones!
That is what the big billy-goat said. And that is what the big billy-goat did. After that he went up to the mountains. There the three billy-goates Gruff got so fat they could hardly walk home again.
Snip snap snout, they are out!
